Today I feel the heavy weight of walking in a world with people who have forgotten how to love.
Who have forgotten how to be really, really present and truly listen. Listen with their hearts and their ears. With their attention. Really here, not in their games, in their politics, in their wounds and injustices.
Who have forgotten how to be with tenderness and compassion; seeing the kindness, the goodness, the brokenhearted-ness.
Who have forgotten how to feel – their heart, their sadness, their joy.
Who have forgotten how to share – their presence, their tenderness, their heart.
And I feel heavy…
…heavy with sadness that they can’t feel the love until they remember.
I feel heavy with love.
I share it with you.
